KINKO TAI
This float's construction date is unknown. KINKO TAI was rebuilt by the famous carver TANIGUCHI, in 1838. TANIGUCHI did most of the carvings on this float, includind the gold inlaid carp on the float's pillars. The golden embroidery of swimming carp is worth about 10 million yen, or 75 thousand American dollars.
