KAGURA TAI

KAGURA TAI has been always at the front of the parade of the floats and is called"The Way Opener"
It is said that this float was improved in 1854,by the famous carver YOROKU TANIGUCHI.His kinsfolk undertook the responsibility of maintaining this float,and all of the carvings you see here were crafted by this famed carver.
